What you'll do:

As Finance Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be entrusted with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance department during a critical period of organisational growth. You will collaborate extensively with external auditors and professional advisers to ensure compliance with capital market regulations. • Lead daily finance and accounting operations by ensuring all financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Support the organisation throughout its IPO preparation and listing process by managing financial due diligence, reporting requirements, and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with external auditors, reporting accountants, tax advisers, and other professional advisers on IPO-related matters to ensure seamless communication and execution.
• Ensure that all financial statements and reports are prepared according to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements for capital market readiness.
• Strengthen financial controls, accounting policies, and processes in anticipation of the company’s public listing by identifying areas for improvement.
• Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and detailed financial analysis for senior management to facilitate informed business decisions.
• Review month-end and year-end closing activities thoroughly to maintain accuracy in financial records and compliance with internal controls.
• Assist with cash flow management, budgeting processes, and long-term financial planning to support business growth objectives.
