What you'll do:

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing the entire group consolidation process—ensuring that every aspect of financial reporting is executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with both internal standards and external regulations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with subsidiary finance teams to harmonise reporting practices across the organisation. You will be responsible for preparing consolidated statements that inform strategic decision-making at the highest level while also supporting regulatory submissions vital for future growth ambitions. In addition to maintaining robust internal controls, you will drive process improvements that enhance efficiency throughout the finance function. Your expertise will be called upon not only during regular reporting cycles but also in ad hoc assignments related to corporate finance initiatives. • Compile and submit monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements for management reporting purposes across all subsidiaries within the group.
• Prepare detailed quarterly reports to support future Bursa Malaysia announcements as well as submissions to Bank Negara Malaysia, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
• Monitor all group financial transactions meticulously to guarantee accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal policies.
• Draft audited financial statements and prepare comprehensive supporting documentation for notes disclosures in line with statutory requirements.
• Liaise closely with subsidiary finance teams to ensure consistent application of accounting policies and address any group accounting issues promptly.
• Review and verify subsidiary financial reports regularly to ensure strict compliance with Group accounting policies and identify areas for improvement.
• Resolve financial discrepancies through thorough analysis and implement corrective actions where necessary to maintain data integrity.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) while preparing for future listing disclosure requirements.
• Support interactions with regulatory bodies such as the Securities Commission and Bursa Malaysia when required by providing accurate information and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in group consolidation systems, financial reporting processes, and internal controls; develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Group Finance function.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field is essential for this position as it forms the foundation of your technical expertise.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, MIA, CA or CPA are highly preferred as they demonstrate your advanced understanding of accounting principles.
• At least 6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles is required so you can confidently manage complex consolidation tasks; experience in Big 4 firms or healthcare industry would be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with disclosure requirements for listed companies is considered a strong asset given the organisation’s future listing plans.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with analytical skills enables you to identify discrepancies quickly and implement effective solutions.
