Our client is seeking a Head, Corporate Services to join their team in Senai. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide professional leadership within the finance department, supporting the activities of the Group Property Division. You will be responsible for driving financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling to support business decision-making and identify growth opportunities. What you'll do:

As a Head, Corporate Services, you will play a crucial role in delivering effective finance and accounting support to the Group Property Division. Your responsibilities will include driving financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling to support business decision-making. You will develop, analyse, and interpret accounting information to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, among other fiscal matters. You will also oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Deliver effective finance and accounting support to the Group Property Division
• Drive financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling to support business decision-making
• Develop, analyse, and interpret accounting information to appraise operating results
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports
• Maintain policies and procedures that require sufficient level of control over treasury activities
• Responsible for tax planning and compliance with all applicable taxes
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations, reporting requirements, and all relevant accounting standards
• Present financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head, Corporate Services position brings a strong working knowledge of MFRS, taxation, compliance, and financial modelling. You possess excellent managerial skills including motivating, developing, coaching, and leading teams. Your excellent communication skills enable you to write concisely and present complex technical issues effectively. Your analytical prowess aids your problem-solving capabilities. Above all else, you maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

• Minimum 10 years' relevant working experience in senior management position.
• Professional qualification in ACCA/CIMA/CPA is an added advantage.
• Preferably experience in property industry or corporate background coupled with prior audit experience.
• Strong working knowledge of MFRS, taxation, compliance and financial modelling
• Excellent managerial skills including motivating, developing, coaching and leading teams
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to write concisely and present complex technical issues
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
