What you'll do:

As Senior Manager, RTR, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of a dynamic regional operation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing the end-to-end record-to-report process, ensuring that all financial statements are prepared accurately and on time while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Support the consolidation of financial reports from multiple subsidiaries and business units across the region, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable financial regulations by preparing and submitting regulatory reports within required deadlines.
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of robust internal controls and policies that safeguard organisational assets and uphold the integrity of financial information.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial matters and support broader business objectives.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas requiring attention or action.
  • Assist in identifying potential financial risks facing the organisation while supporting the assessment process and helping implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Play an active role in supporting strategic financial initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or other corporate finance activities as required by leadership.
  • Foster open communication channels with both internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth information flow related to record-to-report processes.
  • Champion best practices in financial reporting by staying updated on industry developments and sharing knowledge within the team.

What you bring:

To excel in this role, you will bring substantial experience managing complex finance operations within regional or multinational settings.

  • Extensive experience in managing record-to-report processes within a complex regional or multinational environment is highly desirable for this position.
  • A proven track record in preparing consolidated financial statements that comply with international accounting standards is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret regulatory requirements accurately while ensuring timely submission of all necessary reports is required.
  • Strong analytical skills are needed to provide actionable insights from large volumes of financial data across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
  • Experience implementing or enhancing internal control frameworks that protect organisational assets is important for success in this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are vital for building collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
  • A background in supporting strategic finance initiatives such as mergers or acquisitions would be advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency with modern enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or advanced Excel skills will enable efficient handling of complex data sets.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through certifications (such as ICSA) or similar qualifications is valued by the organisation.
