What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the financial strategy, planning, and analysis for our client's automotive division. You will engage directly with various departments and global regions, driving initiatives from concept through completion. Your keen eye for identifying emerging business opportunities will be crucial in this role. You will also serve as a hands-on business partner for teams across regions, actively contributing insights and guidance on both financial and non-financial matters. Your ability to develop insightful reports and dashboards will be key in visualizing financial performance.

• Drive financial planning and analysis activities to support the automotive division's goals
• Proactively analyze industry and market trends to identify and capitalize on emerging business opportunities
• Serve as a hands-on business partner for teams across regions
• Actively contribute insights and guidance on financial and non-financial matters
• Lead and implement the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Develop insightful reports and dashboards that help visualize financial performance
• Translate financial strategies into executable plans
• Develop, implement, and oversee efficient control processes
• Assess and manage financial risks while proactively identifying opportunities for business growth in various international markets

What you bring:

As the ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position, you bring a wealth of experience in finance, particularly within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Your educational background in Finance or Accounting has equipped you with the knowledge necessary to excel in this role. You are business-savvy with a keen eye for new opportunities, capable of operating independently in varied environments. Your strong planning, execution, and prioritization skills enable you to manage multiple international projects effectively. Comfortable with travel, you are ready to interact on-ground across various regions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 5-8 years experience in finance, with 1-3 years in a managerial role within the automotive or manufacturing industry
• Business-savvy with a keen eye for new opportunities
• Strong planning, execution, and prioritization skills to manage multiple international projects
• Comfortable with travel and on-ground interaction across regions including Africa and Papua New Guinea
• Detail-oriented and thorough, while flexible and open to cross-functional responsibilities
• Proficiency with ERP systems and data visualization tools
