What you'll do:
As the Accounting & Tax Manager, you will be instrumental in steering the company's finances. Your key responsibilities encompass managing all facets of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting as well as ensuring tax compliance. You will also participate in various projects such as ERP implementation and e-invoicing. Furthermore, you will direct daily treasury operations to fulfil the company's financial obligations. This role calls for robust leadership skills as you will be guiding a team of finance professionals.
* Steer the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in line with IFRS/MFRS and internal company guidelines.
* Supervise the preparation and submission of annual year-end statutory financial reporting.
* Oversee the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Scrutinise and analyse financial performance, pinpointing areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
* Participate in relevant project teams (ERP implementation, e-invoice) ensuring system implementation aligns with company requirements.
* Handle corporate and indirect tax filing, tax estimates and transfer pricing documentation.
* Direct daily treasury and cash flow activities to meet the financial obligations.
* Engage with auditors, tax agent, company secretary and bankers.
* Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
* Aid in enhancing the financial and management reporting system, internal control, policies and procedures.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Accounting & Tax Manager position brings a wealth of experience in financial management within the automotive industry. Your strong background in accounting or finance along with your professional qualifications (ACCA & MIA), equip you to manage the financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and tax matters of the company. Your experience in establishing an Accounting / Finance department will be highly valuable. You are recognised for your high level of integrity, commitment to confidentiality, and strong analytical skills. Familiarity with SAP or Canias ERP system is a plus.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or professional qualification (ACCA & MIA preferred).
* 8-10 years’ experience in financial, tax and treasury management within the automotive industry.
* Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and tax matters.
* Experience in establishing an Accounting / Finance department.
* High level of integrity coupled with commitment to maintain confidentiality.
* Strong analytical abilities along with communication and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with SAP or Canias ERP system.
* Proficiency in English.
