  • Conduct root cause analysis on variances to forecast results and unforeseen trading patterns, embedding continuous improvement principles to address issues at their source.
  • Promote a focus on both top-line revenue and bottom-line profit within the business unit by supporting and critiquing new project proposals for cash flow and profitability.
  • Provide robust financial support for bids and contracts, ensuring costings are competitive and achievable for successful fulfilment.
  • Lead the reporting cycle for the business unit by ensuring outputs such as reports, plans, and budgets are accurate, timely, and actionable.
  • Collaborate with other leadership team members to ensure messaging and analytics are comprehensive, highlighting key financial issues effectively.
  • Prepare company financial accounts so they are presented accurately, on time, and fully compliant with local statutory and regulatory requirements.
