What you'll do:

• Lead the annual strategic planning process by coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and market trends.
• Drive the development and execution of growth strategies through comprehensive market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and identification of new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to develop robust financial models that support scenario planning, investment appraisals, and resource allocation decisions.
• Provide insightful recommendations to senior management based on data-driven analysis of business performance, risks, and emerging opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops and strategy sessions with key stakeholders to foster consensus on priorities and action plans for both short- and long-term initiatives.
• Monitor progress against strategic goals by establishing clear metrics, tracking performance indicators, and preparing regular reports for executive review.
• Champion digital transformation projects by identifying opportunities for process automation, improved analytics capabilities, and enhanced reporting tools.
• Support M&A activities including due diligence, valuation analysis, integration planning, and post-merger reviews as required by the leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance standards by developing standardised methodologies for strategic planning processes across the group.
• Continuously seek ways to improve existing processes by soliciting feedback from stakeholders and implementing best practices in strategy execution.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is required for this position.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in strategy development, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), management consulting, or commercial finance roles within large organisations.
• Demonstrated expertise in building financial models for scenario analysis, investment evaluation, budgeting processes, and forecasting methodologies within multinational environments.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication abilities including experience presenting strategic insights and business cases clearly to executive audiences both verbally and through written reports.
• Proficiency with digital tools such as Excel (advanced), PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP or other enterprise systems; exposure to BI platforms like Tableau or Power BI is advantageous.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders from different regions or business units is highly desirable.
• A collaborative mindset with a track record of fostering positive relationships across teams while supporting collective goals over individual achievement.
