What you'll do:


As Manager, Corporate Operations you will be responsible for guiding the organisation’s strategic direction by coordinating business plans and translating executive priorities into impactful programmes. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with Management to ensure alignment between departmental objectives and broader economic goals. You will oversee all aspects of financial planning—from budget preparation to expenditure monitoring—ensuring resources are used efficiently. In addition to managing policy administration and regulatory compliance processes, you will lead efforts in risk mitigation and performance management. Your analytical skills will be put to use conducting research on industry trends and best practices while preparing insightful reports for decision-makers. You will also supervise corporate administration functions such as resource allocation and documentation management. Success in this role requires a nurturing approach towards team leadership—providing guidance to Finance staff—and promoting cross-functional collaboration throughout the organisation.


* Lead and coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic plans, annual business plans, and corporate initiatives that align with organisational objectives.
* Translate Management’s priorities into actionable programmes while ensuring departmental work plans support the region’s economic development agenda.
* Oversee financial planning, budgeting, expenditure monitoring, resource management activities, and ensure proper utilisation of company resources according to approved policies.
* Review financial reports prepared by the Finance function, provide relevant analysis and recommendations to Management, and highlight significant variances or risks.
* Develop, review, implement, and maintain company policies, procedures, guidelines, and governance documents to strengthen internal controls.
* Monitor regulatory compliance with applicable laws, government directives, statutory requirements, and coordinate mitigation of key corporate risks.
* Coordinate the development and monitoring of departmental work plans, KPIs, strategic performance indicators; prepare periodic performance reports for Management’s review.
* Conduct research and benchmarking on governance practices; analyse financial information to support decision-making; identify emerging issues affecting operations.
* Lead corporate administration functions including resource planning; ensure records are properly maintained; oversee administrative expenditure for efficiency.
* Prepare high-quality management papers, Board reports, presentations; coordinate materials for governance meetings; monitor follow-up actions on decisions.

Your proven track record in managing diverse corporate functions makes you an ideal candidate for the Manager, Corporate Operations role. You possess deep knowledge of finance principles backed by relevant academic credentials such as a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. Professional certifications like CFP or ACCA further demonstrate your commitment to excellence. * Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required for this position as it forms the foundation for understanding complex financial matters.
* Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification is highly preferred; professional qualifications such as CFA or ACCA or membership with Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) are advantageous.
* You bring 7–10 years of relevant experience in Corporate Services or similar management functions such as Corporate Finance or Strategy.
* Demonstrated experience in financial management including budgeting processes, corporate planning initiatives, governance frameworks, compliance protocols, performance management systems and reporting mechanisms is essential.
* Proven ability in preparing management reports, conducting financial analysis, drafting Board papers or presentations with strategic recommendations is highly valued.
* Strong understanding of corporate governance principles including financial controls regulatory compliance risk management organisational policies is necessary.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills combined with clear communication abilities analytical thinking problem-solving capabilities are required.
* Experience working independently within a lean organisational structure managing multiple corporate functions simultaneously is important for this role.
* Ability to foster collaborative relationships across departments promote accountability encourage service excellence within teams is expected.
