What you'll do:
As a Regional Business Finance Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's financial operations. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing budgeting and cost management across various departments. You will also play a pivotal role in managing IFRS 16 compliance, allocating costs to regional entities, preparing business performance reviews, reconciling accounts, administering the ERP accounting database, and facilitating the preparation of governance documents. Your commitment to accuracy and timeliness will ensure smooth financial reporting processes.
* Oversee budgeting and cost management for support functions and departments within the commercial platform.
* Manage IFRS 16 compliance by analyzing and recording rental contracts, maintaining the Group’s internal consolidation tool, generating monthly journal entries, and conducting financial analysis.
* Allocate and re-invoice costs to regional entities in alignment with service agreements.
* Prepare and update monthly templates for business performance reviews.
* Reconcile statutory accounts with management accounts.
* Administer the ERP accounting database, ensuring accurate cost center management and proper system integration.
* Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in corporate controllers' financial reporting.
* Coordinate with company secretaries to facilitate the preparation of governance documents.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Regional Business Finance Manager role brings along at least 5 years of experience as a Business Controller or General Ledger Accountant. Your proficiency in English coupled with your strong accounting expertise will enable you to effectively communicate complex financial data. Your adaptability will allow you to handle varied responsibilities while your confidence will aid in engaging with key stakeholders. Being proactive, resourceful, adept at problem-solving are traits that will help you excel in this role. * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Controller or General Ledger Accountant.
* Proficiency in spoken and written English.
* Strong accounting expertise with in-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and financial consolidation.
* Ability to present and summarize financial data effectively.
