AR Analyst (Billing)

What you'll do:

• Process and issue accurate customer invoices by validating pricing and taxes, ensuring all documentation meets compliance standards.
• Proactively monitor sales orders and goods or service receipts across APJ countries, issuing timely invoices that reflect precise transaction details.
• Monitor returns, RMA cases, and vendor rebates by issuing credit notes efficiently to maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle manual adjustments by creating debit notes as required for exceptional cases or corrections within the billing process.
• Analyse and resolve customer discrepancies by collaborating with Sales Order and Purchase Order teams, conducting root cause analysis for effective solutions.
• Work closely with the order team to process outstanding orders, clearing backlogs from reports to maintain operational efficiency.
• Follow up with credit and collection teams to remove order blocks that prevent billing activity, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Own the billing process by proactively participating in process improvement projects and discussions, contributing ideas for enhanced efficiency.

What you bring:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in accounts receivable or billing operations is required for this position.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is essential; candidates with a degree in Accounting are highly preferred due to the technical nature of the role.
• Demonstrated ability to use common office equipment efficiently is necessary for daily tasks.
• Complex problem-solving skills combined with critical thinking abilities are vital for analysing discrepancies and implementing effective resolutions.
• Exceptional attention to detail ensures accuracy in invoice processing and record maintenance under tight deadlines.
• Clear communication skills enable you to convey information effectively across diverse identities within the organisation.
• Adaptability allows you to adjust readily to changes in systems or processes as needed by the business environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining dependable within a team context is crucial.
