Finance Specialist | Remote | 2 Years Contract

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Specialist to support day-to-day finance operations, with a focus on accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, documentation, and month-end activities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process and maintain accurate finance and accounting transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Review invoices, payment requests and supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness and proper approvals.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including supplier invoices, staff claims, customer billing and receipt recording.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and escalate issues where required.
• Assist with month-end closing, including preparing schedules, completing reconciliations and following up on outstanding documents.
• Maintain well-organised financial records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare basic reports and Excel schedules and provide general finance support to the Finance Manager.
• Handle ad-hoc finance and data-checking tasks while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and transaction controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle high-volume, repetitive finance and data-entry tasks accurately.
• Organised, reliable and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative team player.
