A leading multinational corp is seeking a Senior AP Analyst to join their expanding Global Business Services team in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya. This role offers you the opportunity to work within a vibrant and multicultural environment, supporting multiple countries and brands.

What you'll do:

• Oversee the end-to-end invoice processing cycle for one or more countries, ensuring all invoices are received, validated against purchase orders or contracts, and processed accurately according to company policies.
• Resolve complex invoice discrepancies by collaborating closely with business requestors and vendors, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise junior analysts by reviewing their work on invoice processing and month-end activities, ensuring quality control and adherence to established procedures.
• Manage month-end reconciliations and verifications in line with the financial calendar, preparing accrual reports that reflect expenses incurred but not yet paid.
• Investigate aged items or outstanding discrepancies in the accounts payable ledger to maintain clean records and support accurate financial reporting.
• Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for accounts payable processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead multiple Continuous Improvement projects aimed at optimising processes, increasing automation, and promoting best practices across the global AP function.
• Standardise procedures by contributing to harmonisation efforts within Global One processes, ensuring consistency across regions and brands.
• Act as the primary point of contact for local finance accounting managers, facilitating effective communication between teams and representing the AP function.
• Build strong networks with internal stakeholders such as Treasury, Procurement, and other departments to foster collaboration and support business operations.

What you bring:

• Minimum qualification of Advanced Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or CPA/MIA equivalent is required for this position.
• At least 1 year of practical experience in Accounting/Finance or Shared Service Centre in PTP area is essential for success in this role.
• Proficiency in financial/accounting tools such as SAP HANA, Coupa, Basware, Ariba as well as operational systems including MS Office Suite, Google Office tools, SNOW, Power BI is highly valued.
• Excellent analytical skills paired with high attention to detail ensure accuracy in all aspects of accounts payable processing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English—and Korean—enable you to connect with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Exposure to migration or improvement projects (local/global) adds value by showcasing your adaptability during organisational change initiatives.
