A leading organisation in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee all accounts payable activities and lead a dedicated AP team. What you'll do:

As an Accounts Payable Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play an essential role in overseeing all aspects of accounts payable operations.

• Oversee all accounts payable activities, ensuring that payment disbursements are executed accurately and efficiently according to established company guidelines.
• Lead, mentor, and support the AP invoice team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional development.
• Manage the end-to-end process of invoice verification, approval, and clearance to guarantee timely payments to vendors while maintaining positive relationships.
• Develop, implement, and monitor company policies and procedures related to accounts payable, ensuring full compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strict adherence to procure-to-pay (PTP) controls by regularly reviewing processes and identifying areas for improvement.

What you bring:

To excel as an Accounts Payable Manager in this organisation, you will bring a solid foundation of academic achievement paired with extensive hands-on experience in accounts payable management.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent qualification is required for this position.
• At least five years of proven experience managing accounts payable functions within the F&B or FMCG industry is essential for success.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using the SAP AP module is mandatory; overall knowledge of SAP FI module would be highly beneficial.
• Experience working within public listed companies is considered an added advantage due to exposure to complex regulatory environments.
