Robert Walters Malaysia raises RM14,285 for Charity Day 2019

The Robert Walters Group held its annual fundraising event on 11 October 2019.


The Kuala Lumpur office raised a total of RM14,285 for Kumpulan Ibu Bapa dan Sokongan Anak-Anak Kanser, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that provides support to families and children diagnosed with cancer in Ward KK3, Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Our Northern Region office spent the day cleaning and contributed daily necessities for the Penang Handicapped Welfare Association. 

A united effort

To raise as much as possible for Kumpulan Ibu Bapa dan Sokongan Anak-Anak Kanser, fundraising activities such as "Be Late to Work", "Dress Down Fridays", "Lunch Potluck","Come to Work Without Make-Up","No Hair Gel and Tutu Challenge","Eating Challenge","Dutch Auction" were held between 27th September-10th October 2019.

In addition to fundraising activities, a group of staff from the Kuala Lumpur office visited the cancer children at Ward KK3 Hospital Kuala Lumpur dressed up in superhero costumes and spent quality time with the children. Besides that, we also prepared goodies bag for the children which included:

  • A KFC meal
  • Chocolate bar
  • Chocolate bread
  • Story book
  • A "Super Hero" medal 


"This year's Global Charity Day was especially exciting as our staff members showcased their big hearts and performed all sorts of dares and challenges for charity! The hospital visit brought fun and smiles to the children and parents all around, who were the real superheroes of the day," said Kimberlyn Lu, country manager of Robert Walters Malaysia.
