Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Incident & Problem Manager, ITSM (Financial Services). This role is based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring incident service levels are achieved in agreement with internal business stakeholders and tech. What you'll do: As an Incident & Problem Manager, ITSM (Financial Services), you will play a pivotal role in driving the response to all critical incidents while ensuring service levels are maintained. Your role will involve managing all aspects of the Service Management process including Incident Management and Problem Management. You will establish a customer-focused function that drives efficiency, quality, customer service and growth. Your ability to lead post-incident reviews will be crucial in this role. You will also be responsible for identifying trends through studying historical problems and root cause analysis to bring about improvements across technology.
Driving, managing, and coordinating the response to all critical, major, and high severity incidents towards resolution within the stipulated SLA
Managing all incidents and requirements related to the Service Management process – Incident Management, Problem Management as a Single Point of Contact
Establishing and maintaining a service orientated, customer focused function that supports ongoing operations that drive efficiency, quality, customer service and growth
Leading or contributing to effective Post Incident Reviews - Engage teams for PIR activities, produce Post Incident Reports, as well as input to the Change and Problem Management Processes as required
Being responsible for continuous improvement of the overall Incident and Problem Management process and communication
Reviewing and studying historical problems and root cause analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvements across technology
What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Incident & Problem Manager, ITSM (Financial Services) role will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team. With a minimum of 10 years' experience in IT Service Management, you will have the ability to drive and coordinate Major Incident Management (MIM). Your understanding of the insurance business and its success drivers will be crucial in this role. You will possess strong strategic thinking and analytical skills in problem management. Your flexibility and ability to take on additional tasks as required will be highly valued. Lastly, your sound knowledge in using and customising reports with current industry service management systems such as JIRA and SNOW will be essential.
Degree in any discipline from an accredited institution. Preferably with ITILv4
Minimum 10 years of working experience in IT Service Management
Ability to drive and coordinate Major Incident Management (MIM)
Good understanding of the insurance business and its success drivers
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills in problem management
Accountable for delivering outcomes, strives to meet and exceed stakeholders’ expectations
Flexible and able to take on additional tasks as required
Sound knowledge in using and customising reports with current industry service management systems (JIRA, SNOW, etc)
