The successful candidate will be an integral part of the cybersecurity team, managing relationships with local business and IT teams, driving security compliance, and supporting global initiatives.

What you'll do: As a Cybersecurity Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the firm's cybersecurity posture. You will be responsible for managing relationships with local business and IT teams, providing expert advice on cybersecurity matters, driving security compliance within the region, and supporting global initiatives. Your role will also involve managing local IT teams on various cyber topics, overseeing zone vulnerability management, driving IAM processes, reviewing cybersecurity policies periodically, and supporting security awareness programmes.
Support the regional cybersecurity team in managing relationships with local business and IT teams
Provide subject-matter advice and guidance on cybersecurity
Drive security compliance within the zone
Manage local IT teams on Cyber topics including Identity Management, Vulnerability Management, Risk Assessment, and Security Awareness
Be responsible for zone vulnerability management and reporting
Drive and deliver IAM process, operations, and services
Periodically review cybersecurity related policies and standards
Support in security awareness programme and track its effectiveness quarterly
Support global initiatives ensuring project implementation and adoption
What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Cybersecurity Governance Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in cybersecurity or IT-related solutioning/governance/program management roles. A certification from a relevant professional body would be advantageous. Your ability to operate comfortably within a complex cultural, global environment will be key to your success in this role. As a proactive team player who can also work independently, you will fit perfectly into our inclusive and collaborative culture.
Recognised degree or master's degree or professional qualification in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Risk Management or related discipline
Five to seven years' experience in Cybersecurity or IT related solutioning/governance/programme management roles (with three to five years in cyber)
Certification with relevant professional body and security certification is an added advantage
Ability to operate comfortably within a complex cultural, global environment
Proactive team player who can work independently
