An exciting Payroll Analyst job opportunity has just become available at one of the leading FinTech companies based in Kuala Lumpur.
About the Payroll Analyst Role: The Payroll Analyst will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Payroll and responsible for processing payroll for the company's entities outside the United States and Canada, working with human resources to ensure the payroll is processed timely and accurately and answering any employee questions related to their payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily payroll functional activities
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed on an accurate and timely basis within country laws and regulations pertaining to payroll
Ensure effective and efficient process in the payroll system
Coordinate with human resources (HR) to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing of all new hires, terminations, transfers and promotions
Maintain confidentiality in handling payroll activities and changes
Provide accounting support, accruals and review as needed
Continue to refine the monthly general ledger accounting process to increase efficiency and improve controls
Assist with ad hoc projects and responsibilities as needed
To succeed in this role, this Payroll Analyst would need to have at least three to five years' relevant experience in payroll benefits.
Key Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and to effectively communicate complex payroll matters to employees and management
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost professionalism
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving attitude with the ability to adapt to changing requirements
