As the Regional Operations Manager, you will support the Operations VP to oversee all operations across Asia, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost, and LEAN transformation meet company objectives and comply with laws and regulations. You will also implement best-in-class efficiency monitoring and tracking tools and KPIs as well as appropriate Lean methodologies and performance management to achieve best in class efficiency across the operations portfolio.

What you'll do: As a Regional Operations Manager, your role will be pivotal in supporting the Operations VP in overseeing all operations across Asia. You will be responsible for preparing both the regional operation's budget and a strategic three-year growth plan. Your commitment to promoting Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity and Maintenance will ensure compliance with EHS requirements. Your leadership skills will shine as you lead cost reduction efforts across all operation sites. Regular site visits will provide opportunities for hands-on involvement in operations reviews. Your keen eye for detail will ensure regional capex and spending are closely monitored. A key part of your role will be coaching and developing the site operations team towards operational excellence.
Support Operations VP to prepare the regional operation's budget and various plans, ensuring all sites meet financial targets
Prepare a three-year strategic/growth plan for Operations including building new manufacturing plants/operations across Asia
Promote and implement Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity and Maintenance, ensuring all sites comply with EHS requirements, laws, and regulations
Lead cost reduction efforts across all operation sites
Visit each site periodically and participate in Ops review with site operations leader
Ensure regional capex and all spending are scrutinised and tracked closely
Coach, develop, train site operations team to be more professional on operational excellence
Assist Operations VP to execute Asia projects like Asia cost reduction, Asia footprint and manufacturing roadmap, LEAN transformation
What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Regional Operations Manager role brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. With a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Operations or Mechanical Engineering, you have at least 10 years' solid manufacturing operations management experience. Your solid knowledge and proven experience in cost reduction and LEAN Manufacturing is invaluable. Experience starting up new manufacturing plants or involving M&A in Asia would be a bonus. You also have working knowledge of ERP systems and be fluent in English; fluency in Mandarin is an advantage. Your hands-on experience in managing operation projects across different countries/regions of Asia is key to your success.
