An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned professional to take on the role of Vice President, Corporate Recovery. To succeed in this Vice President, Corporate Recovery role, you are required to possess experience in leading a team in corporate recovery for banks.
This Vice President, Corporate Recovery role is perfect for someone who thrives in strategising and planning effective approaches towards resolving all Corporate Conventional/Islamic and IHP accounts.
What you'll do:
Formulate and strategise the most effective way to rehabilitate distressed accounts by way of Restructure and Reschedule (R&R) and/or legal means to maximise recovery
Negotiate with defaulters to determine the best option for speedy recovery
Analyse and evaluate settlement proposals prior to submission for approval
Monitor and supervise closely all rehab cases approved for R&R to ensure all key terms and conditions are complied with
Liaise effectively and timely with internal & external stakeholders, borrowers and service agents e.g. white knight, solicitors, receiver and manager, private liquidators, etc. to achieve maximum recovery
Support Head of Department in providing opportunities for staff career enhancement and improvement of recovery operational level through on-the-job exposure or educating staff in area of understanding debt recovery management
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
At least 15 years' working experience preferably in the banking industry
Minimum of five years' experience in Debt Recovery
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to formulate effective strategies for debt recovery
Experience in analysing settlement proposals
Experience in supervising rehab cases
Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with various stakeholders
