An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Corporate Finance (Assistant Manager). This role offers the chance to manage internal corporate exercises, compliance monitoring, digitalisation efforts, and monthly management reporting. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to liaise with various departments and external parties, providing support to different business units within the group.
As an Corporate Finance (Assistant Manager), you will play a pivotal role in managing internal corporate exercises and ensuring compliance with processes, workflows and regulatory requirements. You will also be instrumental in implementing digitalisation efforts for existing operational frameworks.
Manage internal corporate exercises including structuring, documentation and completion
Manage compliance monitoring relating to processes, workflows and regulatory requirements
Assist in implementation of digitalisation efforts for existing operational frameworks
Manage monthly management reporting relating to client management (exposure tracking and risk management)
Prepare, review, and enhance company internal policies
Assist in managing corporate finance related to the company and the group
Liaise with different departments to assist on the company’s operations
Liaise with external parties such as solicitors, consultants, regulatory bodies, etc.
Provide support to the various business unit of the group
Any other ad hoc assignments or tasks as may be assigned by the management.
What you bring:
Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economic and/or related professional qualifications
Awareness of the financial services industry such as Factoring or Insurance business will be an added advantage
At least two years' work experience in the areas of corporate finance, treasury, PLC’s
Capital Markets Services Representatives License (CMSRL) is an advantage
Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu
Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
