In this business critical Application Support Consultant job, you will primarily be involved in working closely with various key representatives from customers to assist them with maintaining and enhancing their mission critical systems.

About the Application Support Consultant Role:
In this business critical Application Support Consultant role, you will primarily be involved with working closely with various key representatives from customers to assist them with maintaining and enhancing their mission critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing technical knowledge of the company’s products and services and becoming certified (a globally recognised certification)
• Promoting and maintaining healthy business relationships between the company and its customers
• Managing, prioritising, investigating and resolving customer enquiries (both support and configuration assistance according to the customer's business requirements) received from customers throughout the Asia Pacific region
• Ensuring customer products are well supported and maintained to the highest possible standard with a maximum level of attainable productivity and efficiency

The successful Application Support Consultant is a driven individual with at least three years of solid experience in mobile development and possess the capability to dig further into a support case and solve it.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in an IT-related field
• At least three years of work experience in IT application support and/or engineer
• Experience in one or more programming languages (e.g. Visual Basic, languages do not have to be object oriented)
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Tertiary qualifications in science and/or knowledge in laboratory or quality control (QC) processes is an advantage
