What you'll do:

• Guide and mentor a team of skilled UI/UX designers by fostering a culture rooted in creativity, shared ownership, continuous improvement, and open communication.
• Oversee the complete UI/UX lifecycle across both web and mobile platforms, including strategic planning, user research sessions, interactive workshops, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and iterative enhancements.
• Facilitate or supervise design thinking workshops as well as usability audits to uncover user pain points and identify actionable insights for improved experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Digital Marketing, and Branding teams to ensure alignment between design strategies and broader business objectives.
• Establish and maintain a scalable design system that guarantees consistency, accessibility compliance, and visual excellence across all digital touchpoints.
• Leverage qualitative feedback and quantitative analytics to inform design decisions that optimise user satisfaction and engagement.
• Define key objectives (OKRs) and performance indicators (KPIs) for the design function; monitor progress to drive continuous workflow improvements and deliverables quality.
• Manage project planning activities including resource allocation and delivery timelines for all UI/UX initiatives within the organisation.
• Contribute actively to the ongoing enhancement of the company’s Quality Management System by integrating best practices from the field of user experience.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, or a related discipline; candidates with diplomas who possess substantial relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
• At least five years’ hands-on experience in UI/UX design roles with a minimum of three years spent managing or mentoring teams within digital environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading end-to-end UI/UX projects—from initial research phases through concept development to delivery and post-launch iteration cycles.
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD for prototyping high-fidelity interfaces across multiple platforms.
• Deep understanding of user-centred design principles including accessibility standards and best practices for building robust design systems.
• Experience conducting usability tests, performing design audits, and utilising analytics-driven approaches for continuous optimisation of digital products.
• Exceptional communication skills enabling effective stakeholder management as well as clear articulation of complex ideas within multidisciplinary teams.
• A proven track record of thriving in environments characterised by tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and rapid project cycles.
