This company is seeking a junior Product Designer with a focus on UI/UX to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with various teams to create design strategies that are both data-driven and human-centred. You will be instrumental in planning and conducting user research, testing, and validating design solutions based on discovered opportunities, insights, and feature requests through data analysis and user behaviour.
What you'll do: As a Product Designer specialising in UI/UX, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of the company's products. You will work closely with the Head of Product Design, Lead Product Writer, and UXR Lead to set out vision and roadmaps that scale and impact business.
- Collaborate with Product, Technology and business units to arrive at design strategies that are data-driven and human-centred.
- Plan and conduct user research, testing and validating design solutions based on discovered opportunities, insights, and feature requests through data analysis and user behaviour.
- Lead design conversations within the organisation, articulating design solutions to business stakeholders and leadership in a clear and structured manner.
- Advocate for coherent, yet impactful user experiences across our product offerings.
- Operationalize improvements in product design & content, with scale and flexibility in mind.
- Manage product design requirements and project timeline independently for the team with reasonable prioritisation skills.
What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Product Designer role will have 3 years work experience in UI/UX Product Design. You'll have a proven track record of success in projects supported by UX design principles or psychology of design and customer profile building. Your skills, thought process and knowledge should be clearly demonstrated through an online portfolio.
- 3 years of experience in a UI/UX role. Proven success in projects supported by UX design principles or psychology of design and customer profile building.
- Ability to demonstrate skills, thought process and knowledge with an online portfolio.
- Familiarity with design sprints, ideation, user research, wireframes, prototyping, visual design.
- Strong understanding of usability design, UX research process and best practices.
- Excellent proficiency in product design tools such as Figma, Marvelapp, Lottiefiles, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in building or maintaining design systems / design language in web and mobile apps is a plus.
