What you'll do:
As an Automation Test Lead based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a central role in shaping the future of software quality assurance within the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve architecting a comprehensive QA framework that supports both functional and non-functional testing needs. * 8 to 10 years of experience within a testing or development environment with at least 5 years dedicated to testing roles.
* University degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent qualification), demonstrating foundational knowledge essential for this position.
* Hands-on experience with Automation/DevOps tools such as Git, BitBucket, RobotFramework, Cucumber, Cloudbees, Openshift, Ansible, Docker for automating tests and managing DevOps pipelines.
* Proficiency with data ingestion technologies including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK Stack), Kafka for handling large datasets efficiently.
* Advanced scripting abilities in languages like Python, PowerShell or YAML coupled with experience developing infrastructure as code (preferably Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes or OpenShift).
* Comfortable working across both Windows and Linux operating systems to support diverse testing environments.
* Ability to develop metrics-driven reports analysing testing performance and quality outcomes for continuous improvement.
* Expertise troubleshooting complex distributed systems including microservices architectures; skilled at API testing (REST/SOAP) for smooth service integration.
* Experience working within Agile-driven environments where adaptability is valued.
