What you'll do: As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will immerse yourself in every aspect of the software testing lifecycle. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan robust testing strategies that prioritise user experience.

• Align with the Head of QA's vision by adhering to best practices and contributing to the company's strategic goals.

• Work closely with the QA Lead, team members, and stakeholders to ensure seamless end-to-end testing during agile sprints and post-release phases.

• Conduct requirements analysis, identify risks early, prepare detailed test analyses, and develop reusable test cases for various testing types across mobile apps and web browsers.

• Automate test cases for long-term maintainability, maintain up-to-date documentation (test scripts, QA materials, status reports), and support frequent regression testing cycles.

• Execute planned test cases, log defects promptly, follow up through closure, conduct defect analysis studies, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during sprints.

• Assist with code merges, deployments, and provide hotfix testing and troubleshooting throughout the product lifecycle.

• Apply strong domain knowledge consistently across project stages while demonstrating adaptability in dynamic environments with constant change.

What you bring: To excel as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist you will bring proven experience in hands-on software testing across multiple platforms—particularly mobile devices running iOS or Android as well as modern web browsers.

• Mobile & Web Testing Experience: Possess 1-2 years of hands-on experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android), cross-browser platforms, or web applications; recent graduates with relevant skills are also encouraged to apply.

• Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a strong foundation for understanding technical concepts.

• Attention to Detail & Analytical Skills: Exhibit proactivity, meticulousness, and analytical thinking to ensure thoroughness across all aspects of quality assurance work.

• Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environments: Thrive in dynamic settings where priorities shift rapidly due to evolving business needs or project requirements.

• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate knowledge of software testing methodologies and practical experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium or Appium, scripting languages (Java/Python), and tools such as Jira, Postman/JMeter, Git/Jenkins.

• Domain Knowledge & Certifications: Fintech or e-wallet industry knowledge is preferred but not mandatory; ISTQB-CTFL certification is an added advantage.

• BDD/TDD Familiarity: Familiarity with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) or Test Driven Development (TDD) frameworks is advantageous for aligning tests with business requirements effectively.
