What you'll do: As a Software Automation Tester, you will be at the forefront of driving quality assurance in software development and deployment. Your role will involve assessing applications, programs, and software to ensure they function as expected. You will conduct rigorous tests on the software developed by our team, identifying and rectifying any bugs or issues before deployment. Your expertise in automating repetitive test cases will significantly enhance efficiency.
- Preparing testing plans, organizing and conducting testing. Writing test plans and test cases
- Capable of implementing test principles and methods in the area of web applications. Applying automation testing and automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in automating tests, especially building from the scratch.
- working with DevOps for CI/CD setup for the automation testing & reporting
- Working in an agile environment.
- Applies an analytical and technical mindset when troubleshooting to isolate problem/defect areas
- Run Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Retest, and E2E on the Application Under Test.
What you bring: As a Software Automation Tester, you must have hands-on experience with software product test planning, execution, and defect follow-ups. With over 6 years of experience as a Software Tester involving software validation, test and release functions, you have honed your skills in Automation Testing using industry-accepted frameworks and tools like Selenium, Playright, Jasmine, Robot etc.
- Hands-on experience with software product test planning, execution, following up on defects
- 6+ years working as a Software Tester (software validation, test and release function)
- Automation Testing experience using atleast 1 of the industry accepted framework & tool like Selenium, Playright, Jasmine, Robot etc.
- College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Strong experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and testing areas
- Experience in running Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Retest, and E2E on the Application Under Test
