About the Software Tester Role:
Based in Subang Jaya office, the Software Tester is responsible for delivering best value in web applications for internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing manual functional tests
• Creating test plans and test cases for testing web applications
• Creating, maintaining and running automated functional tests
• Designing and executing performance, load and security tests
• Documenting and tracking bugs in a defect management system
• Learning system end to end and performing configuration tasks
• Demonstrating application functionality
• Providing system training for the users
• Helping with production issues
• Defining testing standards and procedures and selecting testing tools
• Risk assessment of proposed software changes

To succeed in this Software Tester role, you must have good communication skills, ability to easily change direction based on lessons learnt or changed circumstances (adaptability), open mind and positive can-do attitude, initiative and ability to work without a close supervision, internal drive for technical excellence.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of two years' full-time testing of web applications
• Knowledge of functional, performance, load and security testing
• Experience with querying and updating data with SQL
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Understanding of the Scrum framework
• Fluence communication in English (verbally and in writing)
