Quality Assurance Specialist

A leading global MNC within the laboratories and manufacturing industry is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Specialist (IT) based in Shah Alam.

About the Quality Assurance Specialist Role:
Based in Shah Alam, the Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for end-to-end test planning, execution, and managing Microsoft 365 Testing and integration activities to ensure that all quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements analysis and quality methodology
• Test case creation and execution on multiple platforms
• Develop IT Service Quality processes and standards
• Regression and integration testing on multiple platforms including Microsoft 365
• Document system defects and provide updates to test case base as new requirements and information become available
• Provide effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives, and performance to plan
• Drive strategic department Quality initiatives
• Conduct post-project audits and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful

To succeed in this Quality Assurance Specialist role, you will need to be knowledgeable about processes and quality systems including change management, defect management, and deliverable versioning systems

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology or equivalent and/or a minimum of five years' experience and demonstrated excellence within a minimum of one of the subject matters listed above
• Experience in quality management
• Experienced with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Familiarity with current project management approaches for software applications and development
• Experience with requirement management applications and software test management applications
• Excellent communication skills and soft skills and good team player
• Certifications/Qualification like Lean/Six Sigma, Lead, CSM, and Agile is an added advantage
