Software Engineer (React.Js, .NET)

What you'll do:

• Participate actively in full-stack web development projects, focusing primarily on building APIs, user interfaces, and integrating databases using the .NET Core platform.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance across both production and development environments, ensuring reliability and efficiency for end users.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, QA specialists, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet project requirements.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code by adhering to best practices in software engineering, contributing positively to long-term project success.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks according to established project schedules while maintaining open communication with stakeholders regarding progress.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in web development by researching new technologies and implementing innovative solutions where appropriate.
• Engage in regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Utilise source control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps for version management and collaborative development workflows.
• For senior positions: Lead full project lifecycles including design, development, deployment, and ongoing support; mentor junior engineers; contribute architectural insights; drive technical excellence across projects.

What you bring:

• 3–5 years’ professional experience developing web applications using C# (.NET Framework & .NET Core) alongside JavaScript; more than 6 years’ experience required for senior positions with advanced skillsets.
• Proficiency with ASP.NET Core/MVC frameworks for building RESTful APIs and responsive user interfaces tailored for modern web experiences.
• Hands-on experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server; familiarity with PostgreSQL or MySQL considered advantageous.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; experience integrating third-party development tools like Syncfusion is beneficial.
• Expertise in ORM tools such as Entity Framework Core and LINQ for efficient data manipulation within applications.
• Competence using source control systems (Git/Azure DevOps) for collaborative coding practices within distributed teams.
• Practical knowledge of React.js (and ideally Next.js) for building dynamic client-side interfaces; this is highly desirable for candidates seeking senior responsibilities.
