A leading financial institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Delivery Manager to oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle for its digital banking domain. What you'll do: As Delivery Manager – Software and Digital Banking based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play an instrumental role in driving successful outcomes for digital banking initiatives.   • Oversee the complete software development lifecycle for all transitioned work from Group, including projects, quarterly change requests, and production fixes within the digital banking domain.
  • Anchor key engagements with various stakeholders by facilitating analysis, design, development, implementation, release management, testing, and ongoing support.
  • Ensure project technical delivery meets organisational standards for quality assurance by adhering to defined software delivery methodologies and tools.
  • Partner closely with group domain teams to plan and manage deliverables while maintaining clear communication channels throughout each phase of delivery.
  • Support team members by equipping them with essential skills, tools, and standard approaches that enable functional excellence across independent squads.
  • Build capabilities within the team by hiring and developing talent, evaluating performance, promoting growth opportunities, and establishing best practices in collaboration with Chapters and Platform/Tribe Coaches.
  • Deploy skilled professionals into appropriate squads based on expertise and demonstrated competence to maximise value creation for the business.
  • Manage both external vendors and internal resources effectively while supervising day-to-day operations related to quality, productivity, velocity, resourcing, and vendor management.
  • Provide regular feedback informed by platform/tribe leaders, squad leads, and colleagues to guide evaluations without micromanaging or direct daily oversight.
  • Collaborate with Platform and Tribe leaders on real business opportunities while maintaining responsibility for people development and process improvement.


What you bring: To excel as Delivery Manager – Software and Digital Banking you will bring extensive experience overseeing technical projects within financial services environments. Your background should include hands-on involvement with software application development, agile methodologies like SCRUM, and managing sizeable teams comprised of individuals from varied backgrounds. You possess strong organisational acumen paired with supportive leadership traits that inspire confidence among colleagues.   • Demonstrated understanding of all architecture layers relevant to software development within digital banking environments.
  • Proven track record of successful deliveries in mobile applications and frontend projects using React technologies.
  • Previous experience managing technical delivery in retail or wholesale banking settings is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies such as SCRUM is essential for effective project management.
  • Ability to lead teams ranging from 15 to 40 members while fostering an inclusive atmosphere that supports diverse backgrounds.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
