• Deliver robust, scalable, and secure Java-based applications that align with evolving business requirements and industry standards.

What you bring: To excel as a Lead Java Developer in this organisation, you will bring extensive hands-on experience building enterprise-grade software using modern Java frameworks. Your background should include guiding teams through complex technical challenges while upholding best practices in software design and delivery.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required; certifications in Java programming or cloud computing are advantageous but not mandatory.

• At least 5 years of experience developing scalable Java applications in high-performance environments, with advanced proficiency in Java frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot and strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.

• Hands-on expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting complex systems, designing microservices architectures, building RESTful APIs, and working with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL, Hibernate/MyBatis).

• Demonstrated experience leading development teams or mentoring junior colleagues is highly desirable for this role.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito), front-end technologies (Vue.js or Flutter), and DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI), containerisation (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., Alibaba Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is considered a plus.

• A background in financial applications or the fintech sector is particularly beneficial for success in this position.
