Lead, Integration Engineer

Are you ready for your next challenge as a Lead Integration Engineer? This role is an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and onboard API endpoints on an API gateway that supports system integration. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient performance at all times, collaborating with other teams to meet business requirements, and improving production service delivery.

What you'll do: As a Lead Integration Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve preparing functional and test data while monitoring testing activities. You'll integrate third-party services using standard methodologies, ensuring that the design meets technical requirements. You'll also define integration strategies alongside the principal and lead architect.

• Prepare functional and test data; monitor and support testing activities. Integrate 3rd party services through APIs using standard integration methodology.
• Resolve design and framework conversion of the integration to meet technical requirements.
• Define and drive integration strategies with principal and lead architect. Communicate with relevant teams to understand requirements.
• Guide in API protocols and frameworks. Maintain API specification and documentation.
• Perform and verify integration points test. Carry out investigation and provide initial assessment of issues.
• Engage with customers to resolve issues and deliver requirements.

What you bring: As a Lead Integration Engineer, you bring a wealth of experience in translating requirements into API specifications using RAML or Open API standards. Your understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle and Scrum processes will be invaluable in this role. You've led teams in integration design across enterprise-wide IT landscapes before.

• Experience in translating requirements into API specification using RAML or Open API standard.
• Understanding of Agile Software Development Life Cycle and Scrum processes.
• Experience leading team in integration design at enterprise-wide IT landscape.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 or similar certification is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology or related field.
• 3+ years leading team members in integration development.
• 5+ years work experience in API management platform or similar integration platform.
• 4+ years’ experience on programming using Unix, Batch, Ruby, Python.
