Software Developer (Angular, .Net)

This company is seeking a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular and .NET. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a Technical Architect, contributing significantly to the architecture direction of technical frameworks. The successful candidate will take an ownership role in overseeing complex system development projects, ensuring quality code production and adherence to agreed software standards.

What you'll do: As a Full Stack Developer (Angular, .NET), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our client's projects. You will work closely with a Technical Architect, taking an active part in architecting solutions while also being deeply involved in hands-on coding. Your ability to undertake and facilitate timely code reviews will be crucial for maintaining high-quality output.

• Support the Technical Architect in architecting solutions and drive the architecture direction of technical frameworks. Take an ownership role in the technical oversight of complex system development projects.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Business/Test Analysts to produce accurate scope, be involved in planning, technical delivery estimates, coordination and lead technical activities across a project’s full delivery lifecycle.
• Provide regular and effective progress updates to Project Managers to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues.
• Define delivery phases of the project including technical activities, sub-activities, and milestones.
• Champion agreed coding best practices and ensure developers are producing quality code.
• Undertake and facilitate code reviews between developers. Contribute to post implementation reviews.
• Work closely with relevant individuals internally to ensure alignment and coordination across technical delivery teams.

What you bring: You hold a tertiary degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, coupled with at least 10 years' experience in a similar role, has equipped you with excellent technical knowledge of C# .Net Core and Angular.

• Tertiary degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related discipline.
• At least 10 years' experience in software development, and 5 years in full stack development.
• Excellent technical knowledge of C# .Net Core, Angular and object-orientated disciplines and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET / MVC / WebAPI.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap.
• Excellent SQL, database design and DDL skills.
• Experience with unit testing, mocking libraries (like NSubstitute) and DI.
• Good XML and XSLT skills.
• Knowledge of GIT and branching/merging strategies.
