This company is seeking a highly skilled Integration Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, configure and onboard API endpoints on the API gateway that supports system integration between internal and external systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining the API platform to ensure it operates at optimal performance all the time.
What you'll do: As an Integration Engineer, your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless system integration between our client's internal and external systems. You will be responsible for preparing functional and test data, integrating third-party services through APIs, defining integration strategies, providing expertise in API protocols, creating API specifications, verifying integration points, carrying out investigations into issues, engaging with customers, and more.
- Prepare functional and test data, monitor and support testing activities including API performance and code optimization. Integrate 3rd party services through APIs and standard integration methodology.
- Determine the design and framework conversion of the integration meets technical requirements.
- Define and drive integration strategies and methods with principal and lead architect.
- Communicate and collaborate with relevant teams to understand requirements using defined architecture frameworks.
- Provide expertise in API protocols and frameworks in building secured, maintainable, and scalable APIs.
- Create and maintain API specification and documentation.
- Verify and test integration points based on assigned tasks related to support activities.
- Carry out investigation and provide initial assessment that will help users understand issues.
What you bring: The ideal Integration Engineer has a track record in analyzing and designing system requirements. You're experienced in creating RAML specifications as API contracts for development. You understand Dataweave scripts and have deployed APIs to various platforms such as Cloudhub, Runtime Fabric or On-prem workers.
- Ability to analyze and design system requirements
- Experience in creating RAML specifications as API contracts for development
- Understanding of Dataweave scripts
- Experience deploying APIs to Cloudhub, Runtime Fabric, On-prem workers etc.
- Practice of API-Led Connectivity
- Creation/Management of Basic CI/CD Pipelines (Maven Plugin, Jenkins, Bamboo etc.)
- In-depth understanding of Agile Software Development Life Cycle
- Mulesoft Certified Developer Level 1
