This company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Support Lead to join their dynamic team in Petaling Jaya. This role offers the opportunity to utilise your technical expertise in ASP.Net, C#.Net, HTML, Javascripts and MsSQL to provide high-quality operational and technical application support. You will play a crucial role in ensuring minimal adverse impact of incidents on the business and preventing recurrence of incidents.
What you'll do: As an Application Support Lead, you will be at the forefront of leading a dedicated team providing top-notch operational and technical application support. Your role will involve supervising the application support team, maintaining accountability for issues until service restoration, managing the problem management process, improving future issue resolution, ensuring service delivery meets agreed upon SLAs, assessing risk of changes on the production network, and challenging these when necessary.
- Supervise the application support team while collaborating with the development and operational support team
- Maintain accountability for issues until service restoration
- Manage the problem management process and prevent repetition of issues through root cause analysis
- Improve future issue resolution by writing knowledge articles and training colleagues
- Ensure service delivery meets agreed upon SLAs and continuously improve service efficiency
- Assess risk of changes on the production network and challenge these when necessary
What you bring: The ideal candidate has 5+ years hands on applications development, support and/or DBA experience. With a recognised degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent under your belt, you possess strong programming skills in ASP.Net, C#.Net, HTML, Javascripts and MsSQL.
- A recognised Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in applications development, support and/or DBA
- Programming skills in ASP.Net, C#.Net, HTML, Javascripts and MsSQL
- Preferred skills in Multithreading, Data Replication, Microsoft IIS Configuration, Web Services, Windows Services
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. High attention to detail
- Fluency in English with good communication and writing skills
