This company is on the hunt for an experienced Senior Developer (Java17) to join their dynamic Engineering team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in Java development, and experience in designing and implementing efficient microservice architectures.
What you'll do: As a Senior Developer (Java17), you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable micro services-based applications. Your expertise in Java development, coupled with your knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Docker, Kubernetes and other related technologies will be crucial in driving the modernisation of our client's Digital Banking Platform.
- Hands-on development with Java version 17 or above. Supporting Springboot version 3.0 or above.
- Pioneering Microservice development and API Security Framework for the organisation.
- Supporting Distributed Compute Engine (Caching)– Hazelcast / Apache Redis.
- Hands-on with Java programming projects and related frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate.
- Implementing containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Responsible for translating business requirements to technical architecture documents.
- Hands-on supporting Design Patterns for Enterprise Application Development.
- Familiarity with RESTful web services, API design principles, and microservices architecture patterns.
What you bring: You will have a wealth of experience in J2EE- Java 17 upwards, including Collections framework & Design Patterns. Your proficiency in the Spring Framework will be key to your success in this role. Additionally, your familiarity with SCM tools such as GITHub/RTC, and experience with build tools like Maven will be highly valued.
- Expertise in J2EE- Java 17 upwards (Collections framework & Design Patterns).
- Proficiency in Spring Framework including Spring Core Container – Beans/Context/AOP/MVC.
- Experience with Spring Hibernate – Transactions (JTA/JPA/DAO/JDBC/ORM) HQL.
- Knowledge of Spring Addl Feature – Batch/Rest/Test.
- Experience with Spring Boot 3 onwards.
- Proficiency in Micro services Framework.
- Experience with RESTful JSON API with SWAGGER and JWT Security framework.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT. Experience with build tools (Maven). Familiarity with SCM tools (GITHub/RTC).
