This company is seeking a dedicated System Support & Project Lead to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is integral to the smooth running of operations, providing essential application systems and reporting support to end users. What you'll do: As a System Support & Project Lead, your role will be pivotal in supporting the overall operations of the department. You will be responsible for extracting data using SQL, performing business/system requirement gathering, and assisting in planning and executing system projects. Your role will also involve providing IT solutions support to users, liaising with outside parties/vendors/GIT, and attending internal or external training for staff development.
- Extract data using SQL for mandatory reporting, business analysis and other purposes
- Perform business/system requirement gathering
- Assist in planning and executing system projects
- Perform SIT and UAT for system changes and handle system file deployment
- Provide IT Solutions support to users, ensuring they have all the IT resources needed for their daily tasks
- Liaise with outside parties/vendors/GIT
- Assist external parties/vendors/GIT for IT needs/requirements to support company business operations
- Attend internal or external training for staff development
What you bring: The ideal candidate for the System Support & Project Lead position will hold a degree in IT/Computer Science and have at least 5 years experience in technical operations support. You should possess knowledge of SQL, have experience in application support, understand databases, and have scripting or programming knowledge. Your ability to provide effective IT solutions, coupled with your commitment to continuous learning and development, will make you a valuable asset to our team.
- Degree in IT/Computer Science. Total of 10 years working experince in IT Support IT Projects.
- At least 5 years experience in technical operations support or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Knowledge of SQL. Experience in application support.
- Understanding of databases.
- Java scripting or programming knowledge.
