This company is seeking a Software Engineer with advanced proficiency in .NET and MVC framework. This role offers the opportunity to design and develop in-house software solutions, collaborate with a dedicated IT application team, and provide digital support for users across Singapore and Malaysia.
What you'll do: As a Software Engineer, your role will be pivotal in designing and developing innovative software solutions. You will work closely with a dedicated IT application team to analyze user needs and create efficient digital solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in coding and modifying software applications based on business requirements.
- Design and develop in-house (web/standalone) software solution. Analyze and resolve errors in the application, including enhancement.
- Collaborate with IT application team on FSD/TSD. Analyze user needs and design efficient and effective software digital solutions
- Code and modify software applications based on business requirements. Offer ongoing support to address user concerns, troubleshoot issues and optimize user experience.
- Work closely with other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Responsible for IT digital support for Singapore and Malaysia users
What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Software Engineer role will have 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent. 3+ years relevant experience preferred.
- Hands-on with ASP.NET framework, MSSQL Server and design/architectural patterns (MVC framework).
- Advanced proficiency .NET languages (e.g. C#, VB.NET) and HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/Bootstrap
- Hands-on experiences in SDLC, CI/CD preferred.
- Familiarity with interoperability architecture/APIs (REST, RESTful, RPC), XML/JSON.
- Knowledge of web server setup and deployment (e.g. MS Azure, VM)
- Knowledge of system analysis and design methodologies and development lifecycle e.g. Agile
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues
- Strong communication skills to gather information from employees and explain complex technical concepts in simple language
