What you'll do:
As a Java Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative software solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are integral to our operations. You will contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring that your code is well-designed, efficient, and testable. You will also play a key role in preparing and producing releases of software components. Your commitment to continuous improvement will drive you to investigate alternatives and technologies, presenting these for architectural review.
- Provide software solution development and support to the Software & Integration and Customer Support for warehouse automation solutions
- Participate in solution design to address clients' needs and improve efficiency
- Able to deliver projects as per deadlines
- Ability to commissioning and testing at customer's site if required
- Able to make technical decisions together with the team
- Explain and communicate software issues to both customers and internal stakeholders
- Act as L3 Support Engineer, providing technical troubleshooting to resolve complex issues
- Train and mentor L2 team to further develop their technical competencies

The ideal candidate for the Java Software Engineer position brings a wealth of skills and experiences to the table. You have proven hands-on software development experience, with a particular focus on Java development. Your experience in designing and developing applications using Java platforms sets you apart from others. - Complex development experience using Java, HTML, CSS
- Strong SQL
- Understanding in Oracle database, Unix and basic network concepts
- Knowledge of warehouse management process is required
- Able to design, develop and test assigned modules
- Strong technical documentation as per project requirements
- Able to perform root cause analysis and recommendation for continuous improvement
