This company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Manager with expertise in PHP, Laravel, and Flutter. What you'll do: As a Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of developers. You will oversee the entire software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment. Your responsibilities will also include managing both front-end and back-end components of applications ensuring seamless integration. You will contribute to the application architecture strategy as part of the enterprise architecture framework
- Lead and mentor the team of web and mobile developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Oversee entire software development lifecycle from requirement gathering and design to coding, testing and deployment.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices and development methodologies.
- Manage both front-end and back-end components of applications ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Be involved in the Application Architecture Domain as part of the Enterprise Architecture framework.
- Create a service culture to execute the services agreed and ensure the promotion of customer experience when dealing with all business stakeholders.
- Responsible on the Budget control on all Application Maintenance which includes maintenance contracts, licensing, managed services, consulting and etc.
- Overall Project Manager of all key IT Application projects – responsible for the delivery of scope, within budget, time, and resources.
- Manage the suppliers/Vendors by defining clear guidelines & objectives, managing their KPIs & SLAs.
What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Development Manager (PHP, Laravel, Flutter) role will bring 5+ years of relevant experience in full stack development with strong proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in full stack development with strong proficiency in front-end, back-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, Node.js, Python, Java and database.
- Experience in working with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Technical knowledge in database administration and infrastructure management would be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with development frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Flutter, RestAPI and version control systems (e.g. Github).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
- Strong leadership skills to lead and manage a team of Senior Leaders. Ability to analyze complex problems, creativity, and innovation in applying solutions for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder.
- Willing to collaborate with a global IT team.
