Our client is seeking a customer-oriented Application Support Analyst with strong communication and analytical skills. This role requires an individual who can work effectively and efficiently in a productive environment to ensure high availability of supported systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide support to customer sites, maintain both hardware and software systems, and contribute to the online knowledge base.

What you'll do:
As an Application Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high availability of our client's systems. You will be responsible for providing support to customer sites, effectively communicating with customers and internal stakeholders, investigating and resolving support incidents, maintaining both hardware and software systems, assisting with training of other team members within your area of expertise, and contributing to the online knowledge base.
- Provide L1 support to customer sites either remotely or at customer’s premise
- Provide on-call standby support outside of normal rostered hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Communicate clearly with the customer and internal stakeholders about the outcome and progress of relevant issues
- Investigate and resolve support incidents to allow the customer systems to resume normal operations
- Support and maintain both hardware and software systems including software updates and hardware upgrades
- Assist with training of other team members within area of expertise
What you bring:
The ideal Application Support Analyst will bring a wealth of experience in analytical skills and customer management. They will have strong documentation skills, a good level of SQL (Oracle, Microsoft), basic Unix/Linux and network concepts knowledge, understanding of Waterfall/Agile methodologies, testing methodology knowledge (ISTQB certification preferred), and the ability to generate quality technical documentation as required.

- Basic Unix/Linux and network concepts knowledge
