This company is on the lookout for a Solution Architect (Software & Applications) to play a pivotal role in their technology transformation journey. This role will be instrumental in shaping the overall architecture and design of complex solutions that will be developed over the coming years.
What you'll do: As a Solution Architect (Software & Applications), you will be at the forefront of our client's technology transformation journey. Your role will involve providing subject matter expertise in information technology and architecture, defining the current state of architecture, developing plans for future state architecture design, and creating roadmaps for the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio.
- Drive the development and maintenance of relevant application related design pattern, standards and policies for enterprise adoption.
- Provide subject matter expertise in information technology and architecture.
- Define and review current state of architecture and develop a plan for future state architecture design.
- Develop a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from current to future, aligned with business and IT.
- Illustrate a deep understanding of how both current and future technology can be used to drive business transformation.
- Develop strategic relationships with Business groups, Group IT and vendor partners.
What you bring: With at least 5 years under your belt, you are well-versed in coding languages such as Java and Kotlin. Your deep understanding of the Spring framework sets you apart from others. You are knowledgeable in relational databases, NoSQL databases, and distributed in-memory caches. Your understanding of DevOps and knowledge of various operating systems will be crucial to your success in this role. Additionally, your familiarity with collaboration frameworks like Jira and Git will be highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of proven experience in one or more IT areas such as engineering and software architecture design
- Hands-on skills on coding languages such as Java, kotlin. In-depth understanding of Spring framework
- Knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL databases, distributed in-memory caches.
- Understanding of DevOps. Knowledge of various operating systems
- Knowledge of collaboration frameworks like Jira, Git
