Senior Business Analyst

Due to expansion plans, a multinational semiconductor manufacturing and production company specialising in data conversion, signal processing and power management technology is recruiting for Senior Business Analyst job to join their expanding IT team and be responsible for the software development life cycle.

About the Senior Business Analyst Role:
In this key position, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the test development of new product and ensuring the successful launches of new semiconductor products. Reporting directly to the Senior IT Manager, this is a role for an experienced business analyst who is enthusiastic and passionate about advancing the expansion plans of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, unit testing, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing systems
• Integration of applications and systems with devices and equipment
• Support, maintain and improve existing applications
• Prepare user manuals and documentation
• Evaluate code to ensure that it complies with industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems
• Work independently or as a team, keep end-users and superiors updated on development progress and follow up on any outstanding issues
• Perform any other duties assigned by the superiors from time to time

To succeed in this Senior Business Analyst role, you must have strong hands-on experience in full stack software development in ASP.net MVC, C# and frontend development.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of ASP.NET MVC in C#
• Agile software development methodology is highly preferable
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery and JavaScript
• Well versed with the use of web services integration such as XML, API, REST, JSON
• Knowledge of code versioning control e.g. SVN, GitHub, Bitbucket
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server (Database Design and Scripting Knowledge)
• Strong skills in application design, development, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Highly analytical thinking, aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, able to handle pressure and complete projects on time
• Multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Candidates must possess at least 5 years of working experience
