Mobile Developer (React Native)

A well-established and dynamic bank is seeking a Mobile Developer (React Native). In this job, you will design and develop custom applications for Android and iOS.

About the Mobile Developer (React Native) Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom applications for the bank. To succeed in this React Native Developer role, you need to have strong knowledge in developing code with Android (Java/Kotlin), iOS (Obj-C/Swift) or Hybrid platform (React Native).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom applications for iOS, Android and Web
• Participate in and contribute to all phases of the application development life cycle
• Work directly with product managers and/or users to conceptualise, build and test the prototype and/or mobile/web applications
• Work along with UI designers and/or web developers or vendors to deliver finished applications
• Create compelling user interfaces and experience as well as build the interfaces with focus on usability features
• Provide implementation and production support on the in-house build mobile/web applications
• Keep up to date on the latest trends and have a keen interest in researching leading trends in mobile and web technologies
• Write detailed documentations for existing applications and new applications
• Update, repair, modify or enhance existing software applications

The successful candidate must have strong experience in mobile application development and a core understanding of React Native.

Key Requirements:

• Degree or higher diploma in Computer Science or related fields
• Experience in iOS/Android/other mobile platform device application development as well as native/hybrid mobile application architecture and development framework
• Knowledge in developing/coding, debugging and running functionality testing. Good to have React.JS, TypeScript, Redux, Apache Cordova
• Ability to work effectively in small (often ad hoc) teams and experience with Agile/Scrum software development approach
• Ability to manage one's own time effectively and ability to prioritise wide range of tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Desire to learn new technologies
