As a result of ongoing and continued successes both within Malaysia and internationally, this reputable organisation within the banking industry is recruiting for a Senior Java Developer job for their regional development team. You will be based in Malaysia.
About the Senior Java Developer Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining enhancements to the new applications to take on new systems development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing current systems, re-architecting and redeveloping from older to newer applications
- Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals
- Working closely with various business partners, analyst and designers
- Producing detailed specifications and writing the programme codes
- Delivering and developing system according to the requirements from the client
- Recommending software upgrades to existing systems
- Ensuring the quality of the product before the products go-live
- System maintenance when the applications go-live
To succeed in this Senior Java Developer role, you must be able to deliver IT projects that align with business growth strategies within the company.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of three years' production application design and development experience in Java technologies
- Object-oriented analysis and design using established and tested enterprise design patterns
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot and web applications development
- Experience in the financial industry is a plus point
- Required knowledge: object-oriented programming, code refactoring
