Senior Scrum Master

A new Senior Scrum Master job has recently became available at a reputable financial institution based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Senior Scrum Master Role:
Reporting to the Senior Agile Coach, in this business critical role, you will be assisting in designing and developing Agile processes and practices for Agile adoption across the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the right approach and outcomes for the respective initiatives under the assigned programme
• Work with Agile Leads and squad members to identify gaps in Agile delivery, and facilitate improvement
• Implement Agile metrics for driving data driven decision making and demonstrating impact of coaching and transformation efforts
• Develop hands-on workshops and brown-bags for Agile themes
• Review progress, resolve issues, escalate as needed. Mediate issues within the team
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retro’s, Daily Scrums
• Help the team progress on the project by ensuring each person is working on the right tasks, helping to remove any obstacles to the team member’s progress, and protecting the team from distractions

In this role, you will facilitate in transformation of organisational functions to enable the adoption of Agile processes and practices.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of experience across a variety of industries and job functions is an advantage
• Entrepreneurial
• Systems-thinker and digitally-savvy tech aficionado
• Adapts to new insights and shift comfortably from concept to detailed execution
