What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving business growth. You will work closely with the sales team to nurture existing customer relationships while also identifying new opportunities. Your ability to conduct engaging presentations, demos, site visits, and provide excellent support will be crucial in this role. You will be responsible for researching organisations and individuals for new opportunities, increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones. Your strategic thinking will be key in finding and developing new markets to improve sales. You will also play a significant role in setting goals for the development team, ensuring they are met. Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills will also fall under your purview.

  • Work together with the sales team to develop new and manage existing customer relationships.
  • Develop additional sales opportunities within partners by implementing actions to cross-sell and up-sell accounts and products.
  • Conduct presentations, demos, site visits and provide excellent support to customers.
  • Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Research organisations and individuals for new opportunities.
  • Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Find and develop new markets to improve sales.
  • Develop goals for the development team and business growth, ensuring they are met.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Information Technology Business Development Manager position brings a wealth of skills and experience. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field and have at least 3 years of relevant experience in sales or marketing. Your background in Point of Sales (POS) product and IP Surveillance will be advantageous. You possess strong communication skills and IT fluency, enabling you to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively. Your excellent organizational skills, ability to flourish with minimal guidance, and proactive nature make you an ideal fit for this role. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is essential, as is fluency in English and Mandarin.
