Our client is on the hunt for a Business Development Executive in IT sales who can forge new relationships and nurture existing ones. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, increasing customer value, and developing new markets to boost sales for Point-of-Sales and other IT products.

What you'll do:

As a Business Development Executive, your role will be pivotal in driving the company's growth. Your day-to-day activities will involve working closely with the sales team to cultivate new customer relationships while managing existing ones. You'll identify additional sales opportunities by implementing strategies to cross-sell and up-sell accounts and products. Your excellent communication skills will come into play as you conduct presentations, demos, site visits, and provide top-notch support to customers.

  • Work together with the sales team to develop new customer relationships and manage existing ones
  • Identify additional sales opportunities within partners through cross-selling and up-selling accounts and products
  • Conduct presentations, demos, site visits, and provide excellent support to customers
  • Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Find and develop new markets to improve sales
  • Develop goals for the development team and business growth, ensuring they are met
  • Train personnel and help team members develop their skills

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Executive role brings a wealth of skills and experience. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field and have at least 3 years of relevant experience in sales or marketing. Experience in Point of Sales (POS) product and IP Surveillance will be an added advantage. You possess strong communication skills and IT fluency, enabling you to effectively interact with clients and team members alike. Your ability to manage complex projects and multi-task is crucial in this role, as is your excellent organizational skills. You're able to flourish with minimal guidance, being proactive, and handling uncertainty with ease.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in sales or marketing
  • Experience in Point of Sales (POS) product and IP Surveillance is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
