PRE-SALES ENGINEER

Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pre-Sales Engineer to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to support pre-sales activities of various solutions such as Data Classification, Data Loss Prevention, and more. The position is fully remote, providing flexibility and convenience for the right candidate. The successful applicant will have the chance to work in a dynamic start-up environment, with opportunities for growth and development.


What you'll do:
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client's pre-sales activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering engaging technical presentations, responding to technical queries during sales calls, executing trials and proofs of concept, building customer proposals, and participating in partner enablement activities. You will utilise your strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as Data Classification, Data Loss Prevention, and IT security.

* Deliver technical presentations and respond to technical questions during sales calls
* Execute trials and proof of concepts
* Build proposals to customers
* Participate in partner enablement activities like tech training and functional enablement


What you bring:
The ideal Pre-Sales Engineer candidate brings a minimum of five years' experience in IT pre-sales, with exposure to both sales and technical support. You are familiar with RFP processes and partner enablement activities. An understanding of operating systems such as Linux is beneficial, as is knowledge within the IT security domain. Your commitment to staying abreast of industry trends will be key to your success in this role.
